Confessions of a Back Blogger

I have a confession. I love history, I love research and I can't live without processing my life through writing a personal journal. And... I really love TEA. And a good cup of tea needs time to seep. So does editing! What I've found, is that the combination of all of the above has lead to my personal blogging style? The back blogger!

I'm not travelling to blog, but I sure want blogging to be part of my travels. I write from research, from experience and from reading back through my journals (to spare you from unrelenting details). The beauty of hindsight? Or, the necessity - when embracing the moment? Which also means that sometimes... you may not hear from me for a while.

Forgive me for my silence. I may be on the road and the best way to stay in touch with my journey is through my instagram account! And... video editing takes longer than it looks?

If you can wait, I'll be back. I'm not sure when, but I'll be back.

In the meantime, please browse my blogging history, share a post, write a comment, send me a message and check out the videos I have posted all over this site!

I promise I'll be back. During the winter? When it's so cold outside that my African blood freezes. I wouldn't dare step out the door! Yes - I'll be back.

I love writing! Especially in the early morning hours (no joke). I'm not a morning person, but I'm on a creative spree right now and haven't slept through the night. Why? ... if you have the answer to this mysterious question, I'm game for a reply.

I mean, why couldn't I have a creative spree at 3pm in the afternoon? Alas...

But - I do love writing...when I'm awake and even when I'm half asleep. So the story will continue, because this is so much more than my story. It's about a quest, it's about a nation and it's about the God whose love is the only story really worth writing about.

History... yes, it's a little part of "His Story".

"He shall have dominion from sea to sea... and to the ends of the earth" Psalm 72:8
